Feasibility Studies for Maritime Transport Infrastructural Projects in Malta

Malta is one of the 10 new member states of the EU. One of the objectives is to integrate Malta in the Trans-European Networks for Transport, the TEN-T and the TINA programmes. In order to realise the infrastructure projects, a preparation is needed. ECORYS is currently preparing the project pipeline, including Environmental Impact Assessments and appropriate Feasibility studies for a series of projects in the port and maritime infrastructure of Malta, in order to prepare for co-financing under TEN-T, structural or cohesion funding. A trade and traffic forecast for these projects, a land use plan and a masterplan for the beneficiary, the Malta Maritime Authority, are also part of the project.
