Objective

The project involves carrying out the survey on global value chains and international sourcing in Denmark, producing statistical results and evaluating the methodology. The survey will be carried out in 2021, covering the reference period 2018-2020. The work is foreseen to involve the following tasks: translation of the definitions and questionnaire, sample design, organisation of the survey, development and testing of the electronic questionnaire, and execution (data collection, data validation and treatment, data transmission) and evaluation of the survey. The statistical unit of the survey is enterprise. The target population of the survey is larger enterprises with number of persons employed 50 or more (≥50), with a main activity in NACE Rev.2 sections B to N. The survey will be carried out as a census, i.e. including in the sample all enterprises in the population. The main achievements will be the production of statistical results (to be transmitted to Eurostat and published nationally) and survey methodology evaluation at the end of the action.
