Description: Updating Results of Household Survey in Palestinian Gatherings
The service provider will have the following tasks:
• Forming a team that includes a lead researcher, assistant researchers, statistician, and project coordinator among others.
• Review documents and data provided by UNDP (including the 2018 report) as well as available reports and publications to better understand the context of Palestinian Gatherings.
• Advising on sampling methods and size to ensure representativeness and comparativeness of results at the gathering and national levels.
• Developing additional indicators to particularly capture socio-economic and health implications of Lebanon multiple crises in Palestinian Gatherings.
• Designing household survey and coding
• Recruiting, and training surveyors (number identified by the company to meet the scope and deadline) and organizing the survey implementation in the selected Palestinian Gatherings across the country.
• Pilot test the survey and make the necessary adjustments; implement the survey (collect data on ground) in the sampled Gatherings.
• Draft a comprehensive report including key findings, analysis, and recommendations for strategic direction in Palestinian Gatherings and sectorial/geographic interventions in most vulnerable Gatherings. The report shall include an analysis that compares the living conditions (indicators) to the 2017 survey results and show changes and challenges in light of the current multifaceted crisis.
The report shall include the following sections at minimum:
o Executive Summary
o Introduction
o Framework and Methodology
o Results (including indicators and analysis in one chapter or separately)
o Recommendations
