Scope of Contract:

The role is to provide legal advice and legal transactional support related to the restructuring of the telecommunications market in the Marshall Islands, which includes the privatisation of the Marshall Islands National Telecommunications Authority and a PPP arrangement. The International Legal Adviser will provide support to a commercial adviser (who is being separately procured to advise the Government on the commercial, financial and transactional aspects related to the restructuring), and provide other relevant telecommunication sector restructuring related work that the Government might require during the course of the planning stage for the project. The Consultant is not expected to be an expert on the local RMI laws.
