Objective: The aim of the project is to provide citizens with a view on the EU functioning based not on the institutional functioning but on the impact it has on citizens. By this, the project reaches an answer to the question of what it is like to be a European. The project focuses on the event implementation with the main goal to support citizens from various EU countries, present cultural diversity of Europe, debate the future of Europe, support cooperation of municipalities, and develop mutual relations among the European citizens. These themes are important both for the partnership as well as for citizens. Connections among citizens will be implemented via exchange of experience and cultural presentations. Equality among citizens from various countries and minorities living in their area will be promoted. The presentation of cultural variedness of the presented nations of Europe will help such aim. The debate about the future of Europe will be led in a form of workshops and discussions about the events of the last decade and focused on raising awareness of the EU. Cooperation will be supported by exchanging experience and seeking further possibilities for cooperation at the level of self-governments. Development of mutual relations will enable to know one another among citizens and make friendships. The project will be implemented as an event consisting of workshops, training activities, awareness-raising activities, presentations, and communication activities. The aims of the project: 1) Supporting cooperation among municipalities and exchange of experience 2) Knowing the cultural variedness of the European nations 3) Promotion of equality of all citizens within the partnership and the EU 4) Raising the general awareness of the EU importance 5) Developing friendships and bonds among citizens from 4 EU countries
