Contract Title: Just Transition Diagnostic

The project has as its main objective the gradually shift towards sustainable energy policy, including decrease of the dependence on coal, improve the security and efficiency of energy supply, and scale up energy efficiency by turning to renewable sources (small hydropower, biogas, solar, and wind) or temporarily gas, and integrating them into the regional energy market. The specific objective of this contract is to provide to the Government of North Macedonia relevant analysis on how a green economy transition in North Macedonia can be accelerated while also managing the social and economic effects of the transition, focusing on the regions, industries, communities and workers who will face the greatest challenges.
