Objective

EPALE – ePlatform for Adult Learning in Europe is Finland’s most comprehensive adult education network and a key constituent in the country’s adult learning strategy. It is run by the EPALE National Support Service (NSS) for Finland, hosted by the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI). In the programme period 1.4.2022–31.12.2024, the main priority of the NSS activities is to increase the national visibility and influence of the platform and to make it increasingly well-known in the country’s adult education community. This is accomplished by an innovative communications strategy and effective administration. The main objectives are to gain new networks and target groups, increase the number of registered and engaged users and to facilitate the creation and sharing of content to EPALE, ensuring that it is of high quality, and maintaining it up to date. These objectives are accomplished by promoting the platform in virtual and on-site seminars, networks and information events, by producing high-quality multi-channel content on diverse adult learning themes and promoting it in social media. The continuing objective is to encourage users to contribute to the platform content and to engage in community activities in support of their professional development.
