Objective
The SME2EUplus will contribute to the Enterprise Europe Network goals by improving the competitiveness and sustainability of SMEs in three Central Italy Regions (Tuscany, Marche, Umbria) and promoting entrepreneurship. The seven partners are key players in their territories and represent Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Trade Associations, Development agencies. The specific Team Build Share & Improve model adopted by the Consortium will ensure a client-centric approach to support SMEs to innovate and grow in the Single Market and beyond. The area covered by SME2EUplus is characterized by a huge number of SMEs, mainly from manufacturing, but also from ICT, robotics, aerospace, chemical, renewable energy, environmental and life science, and also innovative SMEs and start-ups. SME2EU Plus supplies an integrated set of basic and advanced services on the topics of main interest for the growth of these companies: access to funding and finance, assistance on internationalization, innovation, digitalization, technology, IPR, sustainability, resource efficiency, scaling ups issues, transnational partnering, EU legislation, etc. Each partner provides services with its expertise or jointly with the partners or in partnerships with other qualified spokes (Italian and EU EEN network, stakeholders and service providers) at local, regional, national, international levels to meet the assessed needs of clients. The goal is to accompany the individual SME on a journey for a triple transition towards sustainable business practices, digitalisation and more resilience. Moreover, SME2EUplus includes several actions for the improvement of interactions with the EEN network and with local stakeholders to activate a broad and effective support ecosystems for SMEs.
