Objective:
The project presented is a request prepared by the European Federation of Education Employers (EFEE) to financially support the implementation of the EFEE Work-Programme 2022. The work programme involves statutory meetings, policy working groups, projects and conferences, advocacy, capacity building as well as dissemination and communication activities. EFEE represents 54 organisations of education employers across 25 European Countries in all levels of education, from pre-school to higher education. Members are policy makers and end-users from: education councils and ministries of education, associations of school leaders, colleges and universities, local, regional authority employers’ organisations. EFEE is recognised by the EC as European social partner in education and we are consulted on education, social and employment policy issues. Other key activities: Working Groups with trade unions on education issues and social dialogue, research, information exchange with members on EU agenda (education, social affairs and employment). Our mission is to improve the quality of teaching and school management through European cooperation and dialogue. Our aims are to raise awareness on and increase commitment to the European policy agenda, influence European policy, dialogue with unions, network and be the voice of our members at EU level. The work packages outlined in this grant application are based on the overall structure of the EFEE Work Programme for 2022. EFEE proposes its 2022 Work Programme in order to raise awareness and increase commitment and ownership on the European policy agenda in education, training and youth and its reforms at EU and Member State level. This Programme consists of 7 pillars, which are interlinked and originally identified in 2013, but updated to better reflect the strengthened focus on advocacy and making a positive impact this year. Furthermore, we will work on the key topics of sustainability learning in schools and innovation.
