Contract Description: For Assessment for Viability of Gold Hub Master Plan World Bank

The objective of the assignment is to provide analysis and assessment for a gold hub service park.
12. The assignment entails an assessment and high-level master plan for a Gold Hub in the Eastern desert.
13. The assessment will include considering the viability of a gold refinery, exploration/exploitation services, logistics companies, laboratory, vocational training center, mining university and social infrastructure requirements such as residential/recreational areas for people working in the hub. From the analysis a high-level masterplan will be drafted for a prospective gold hub. This assessment will cover:
i. Defining options for the location for the gold hub,
ii. Study potential Gold mining activities in the Eastern Desert to define services/facilities to be established within the hub,
iii. Prepare phasing strategy for the hub facilities covering, for each; capex, timing of implementation, business model, pre-feasibility study and document for promotion,
iv. Prepare a site plan for the hub facilities,
v. Scoping study of utilities and infrastructure requirements within the hub and include these requirements in the hub site plan
