Scope of Contract: Smallholder owned commercial farm enterprises service provider I

The consulting services (“the Services”) include SOCFE Development Service Provider (SDSP). This assignment will require to develop the first nine irrigation blocks (farms) in the upper part of the Shire Valley Irrigation Scheme where water will be ready to flow by mid-2023. The overall objective of this assignment is to facilitate development of SOCFE business plans, support initial activities on irrigation block development, and provide capacity building to SOCFEs so that they will be able, with the support of commercial farm managers, to professionally manage commercial farms with viable financial status and sustainable market linkages.
