Objective

Irbis Comics Publishing has a strategic goal to spark the interest of children and young people in reading with the help of European comic books. We will implement this as follows: 1. Publish and promote a package of European comics: a. Publish 9 books (3000 un. each) of 3 different series for 3 different age groups (hard covers, full coloring): • For children aged 4 to 7 - 7 volumes of comics (will be grouped in 3 volumes) about friendship, relations in a team, first emotions - «Monsieur Blaireau et Madame Renarde - la Famille Blaireau-Renard». France. • For children aged 5 to 14 - 3 volumes of comics of the emotionally and intellectually developing series about family values “Les Sisters”. France. • For children aged 8-9 to 14 and above – 3 volumes of comics of the of the adventure graphic novel series “The Geronimo Stilton reporter”. Italy. b. Conduct a PR campaign on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, to be viewed by at least 100,000 people for each comic book c. Distribute at least 70% of the first print run within the duration of project and to continue distribution after the project completion through: • the chain of offline distributors • online distributors • our retail customers – our client base - 3,000 people, Facebook – 9,000 people, Instagram – 2,000 people. d. Present each printed comic book within the project duration at the 6 Ukrainian book fairs via presentation and sale: • Book Arsenal Festival, Kyiv, 2022, 2023, • Publishers’ Forum for Children, Lviv 2022, 2023, • Book Forum Lviv, 2022, 2023. 2. Facilitate cultural inclusion and provide for receipt of printed comics free of charge (23% of the run) to school’s libraries: a. Send 700 un. of each new comic book free of charge to 350 Ukraine’s schools (2 books per school, 3150 schools in total) and place posters at schools about new books. b. Create the interactive video material (3 videos) for each series, for 30-35 min. for the work in schools and presenting to children
