DE-HEADING MACHINE Specifications:
The machine must be the equivalent of Collum/Jet 1500-HG DE-HEADING MACHINE. It must be able to remove fish heads and split bellies at a rate of 48 fish/minute.
The motors should be 230/440V 3 phase. The machine should be approximately 44” x 44” x 70” high and weigh approximately 1550 pounds.
The machine must be constructed with steel parts made from heavy stainless-steel castings or fabricated from heavy 304 stainless plate or tubing. Cams should be made from heat-treated 440 stainless steel. All other components must be made from aluminum or bronze, making it free from problems caused by rust.
The machine should contain a main drive motor assembly with a carrousel supporting:
--Control cam assembly
--Throat knife assembly
--Support cam assembly
--Pressing device assembly
--Belly knife arm
--Belly knife assembly
--Heading knife assembly
--Head control assembly.
It must contain a belly knife drive chain with a chain end that turns 180° and contains 132 links for small fish and 134 links for medium to large fish. The top frame should be bolted to the base plate and bottom frame. The de-heading machine should include a clean-out device and a chain tensioner assembly with a circular saw for cutting. The main drive motor assembly should allow for tension adjustment on the drive gear. The plumbing assembly should contain safety switches on the left flap, right and rear doors, and a safety stop.
The knives must be the equivalent of these Baader parts:

The electrical components must be enclosed in a stainless steel case with a Lexan window in front making all lights for safety switches and manual/automatic override switches easy to see. The electrical components must contain:

FILLETING MACHINE & SKINNING MACHINE
The machine must be the equivalent of Baader 184 FILLETING MACHINE and Baader 51 SKINNING MACHINE (Collum Tool Company.)
The machine must be a single unit with the ability to continuously fillet catfish in an automated manner. It should be approximately 60” high, 60” wide and 21’ feet long and weigh approximately 5000 pounds. Electrical requirements should be 480V.
The machine should contain motors for the severing, stickle, and back & belly knives.
Its components must include:
--Guide plates
--Fin guides and aligners
--Bone guides
--Saddle guides with brass rails
--Fillet discharge guides (RH and LH)
--Fillet turn-over devices (RH and LH)

SUPER SKINNER:
The machine must be the equivalent of Collum/Jet 870-SS SUPER SKINNER, a stand-alone heavy-duty, highly efficient skinning machine for fish. It should have the ability to skin the following kinds of fish: codfish, cod napes, dogfish backs and flaps, skate wings, dover sole, gray sole, pollack, yellow tail, dabs, rockfish, salmon, halibut, monkfish, pond-raised catfish, saltwater catfish, and eels.
The machine must remove the skin or scales from whole fish or fillets at a rate of 15 whole fish or 25 filets per minute. It should be constructed from stainless steel and aluminum parts. It will be approximately 23” wide (with 17 ½” working width), 36” high and 27” long and weigh approximately 375 pounds.
Mover: 110V/220V, single phase, 1.0 HP, 24 VAC control voltage.
It must contain a blade on a pivot assembly with an adjustable clearance between it and the toothroll. The adjustment is made by loosening the lock nut #110 and an adjustment screw. It must contain a stripper roll with an adjustable clearance over the toothroll. It should be equipped with three heavy duty needle bearings installed in their respective cartridges by the manufacturer only or pressed in and/or out using the equivalent of the Collum/Jet 870SS bearing press tool.
KNIFE SHARPENING MACHINE Specifications:
The machine must be the equivalent of Collum/Jet 900-SM KNIFE SHARPENING MACHINE.
The machine should contain circular knife and fillet knife sharpening machines. It must be able to sharpen knives ranging in size from 4 ¾” (120mm) to 15 ¾” (400mm) in diameter and produce a bevel on one or both sides of the blade. It must have the ability to sharpen the circular knives used in the de-heading machine, the equivalent of these Collum parts:

It must also have the ability to sharpen the circular knives used in the filleting machine, the equivalent of these Collum parts:

The machine should be approximately 32” long, 16 ¼” wide, 23 ½” high and weigh approximately 136 pounds. It should be constructed of stainless steel and aluminum and be available in 110V or 220V (3) phase motors.
