Description
Technologists, Inc. (Ti) constructed a new campus facility for the Afghan National Army (ANA), 3rd Special Forces Infantry Kandak in Kunduz Province, Afghanistan. This is an ANA military post houses approximately 800 soldiers and support staff.
Prior to construction, Ti performed a site survey and geotechnical investigation, and prepared as-built drawings. Ti also swept the site for unexploded ordnance (UXO), and graded the site for drainage.
Ti built an administration building, a headquarters building, a classroom building, barracks, medical clinic, dining facility (DFAC), laundry building, storage warehouses, vehicle maintenance facility and wash rack, and bunkers. Ti designed and built a sanitary water system and sewer system, as well as a road network with aggregate walkways and parking, and an electrical generation and distribution system.
