Objective: 

PATRONES&ESCONDITES, a Barcelona-based video game studio specializing in new interactive storytelling formats and narrative games, plans
to develop and launch its new project THE IMPOSSIBLE CRIME (OF MATEO BONET), the first VR interactive locked-room mystery game. With a
unique and original mechanic, THE IMPOSSIBLE CRIME (OF MATEO BONET) aims to be a narrative experience that takes detective stories to
the next level thanks to VR technologies, making participants feel like true detectives. A project that will stand out for its compelling story, innovative
narrative design, and iconic visual approach, as well as its high production value sound design. The ultimate goal is to create an immersive
experience of outstanding value with the potential to cross borders and become an international success. To achieve it,
PATRONES&ESCONDITES will join forces with UMANIMATION. A multidisciplinary, international team of around 30 people will be working on this
Spanish-French co-production, where PATRONES&ESCONDITES will put its creativity and experience in narrative and gameplay design, and
UNMANIMATION its proven capacity for audiovisual production and virtual reality experiences. By applying to this call, we aim to raise funds to
help us develop HERE's first VR prototype, an essential milestone for the further successful development of the project.
