Objective: This is an annual work plan within the three-year programme that contributes to the four LIFE objectives. FoEE’s annual workplan implements actions that work towards systemic change with the European Green Deal (EGD), based on our principles for transformation, with a focus on its improvement, buy-in and implementation to support an environmentally and socially fair transition that benefits all European citizens. The work packages are the same as in the 3-year programme and are covering these thematic areas: Climate justice; energy; biodiversity; food and agriculture; resource justice; trade, investment and corporate accountability. Policy priorities depend on the sectoral policy cycle development within the EGD and the European Commission (EC) 2023 workplan. Two work packages are dedicated to 1) Horizontal and emerging issues and the European Green Deal implementation, and 2) Towards a sustainable economy. There is also a work package on organisational development that includes capacity building, communication and operational issues, such as finance management.
