Description

Programme(s): Single Market Programme (SMP)-undefined

Topic: SMP-FOOD-2022-AMRtool-AG-IBA

Type of action: SMP Project Grants

Project ID: 101103291

Objective:

Denmark is applying for the funding of recruitment of one administrator staff under the call "Implementation of the collection and reporting of data
on sales and use of antimicrobials in animals for the period 2022-2027". The described project is going to support the readiness of Denmark to
report accurate, consistent, complete and timely data on use of antimicrobials in animals to the ASU system, as well as documentation of
methodology and quality insurance. Denmark is partly ready for the first reporting in 2024. Denmark has collected use data for close to 20 years,
but the collection system and method needs to be adapted to the VMP regulation and the ASU protocol. Many of these adaptions are
administrative, but technical adaptations, quality measures and documentation needs are also tasks in this project.
