Description: Freestanding Containment Enclosure: Negative Pressure
Salient Characteristics that the government requires:
• Enclosure framework shall be manufactured using light weight aircraft aluminum and NASA spec synthetic materials.
• Soft walls of the enclosure shall use hook and loop connections on the panels that allow for ease of service and modification.
• Enclosure shall have soft walls that can be disassembled easily for storage, moving and assembly.
• Enclosure shall have HEPA filtered power units that are 100% compatible and interchangeable with the bioBUBBLE’s HEPA filtered power units that the government currently use and deploy in mission critical operations that require a negative pressure freestanding containment enclosure.
• Power units shall be portable and multipurpose in that they can easily switch between uses as an air shower, diffusion head, or filtration unit for an airlock, clean room, or containment enclosure and shall meet the same or equal specifications as the units that are used on the BioBubble model CR-FS-N.
• Freestanding Containment Enclosure shall operate at 100 HEPA filtered air changes per hour and can be converted between positive and negative pressures. o Freestanding Containment Enclosure shall have high volumes of directional airflow for maintaining ultra-clean exclusion environments and safe, high-level primary containment inclusion environments. o Freestanding Containment Enclosure shall provide a design that allows the end
user to replace the HEPA filters in a short amount of time in difficult and demanding conditions.
• Freestanding Containment Enclosure shall be built to meet the exact standards, specifications, and measurements needed to assemble and function as designed in negative pressure to contain hazardous agents, aerosols, and other airborne particulates in the area outlined in the enclosed drawing to meet BSL-2, BSL-3, BSL-4, ABSL-2, ABSL-3, ABSL-4 and USDA BSL-3-Ag applications for a mission critical need in an emergency situation.
