Description: Evaluation aimed to assess project components implemented by PIN and partners to contribute to the improved engagement of target CSOs in promoting DCFTA and SME policies at the local level; and assess capacities of target CSOs to be actively involved in the policy dialogue and managing DCFTA information-resource desks.
Objectives of the evaluation were to: review how the project met its set of outcomes and objectives by the end of the project implementation period; to make judgement on how intended or unintended, positive or negative changes are; calculate and compare the costs and benefits of a project; provide lessons learnt and recommendations that would assist implementing partners and other stakeholders to enhance the impact of their future interventions.
Methods used: desk research, key informant interviews and focus group discussions
