Description

132/33 kV GIS substation at El Buremi Governorate.
The scope include:
• (132 kV GIS) switchgear (7 bays).
• SCS System.
• Two 132/33 kV Transformers.
• Substation Auxiliaries.
• 33 kV GIS Switchgear.
• Civil Works.
• Telecommunication System.

Prepare outline design report and advice client on best alternative.
• Advise client as to the special investigation of sub-soil conditions.
• Submit a study report to client on various options available for network expansion and reinforcement with corresponding cost and reliability estimations for each option.
• Prepare Design, Technical Specification and Tender Documents including Drawings, Specification and Bill of Quantities to enable the Client to seek Tender.
• During Tendering Period, reply on questions and/or clarifications received from the Tenders by issuing an Addenda or Circular Letters and arrange for site visit by the Tenderers.
• Evaluate Tenders received and advise the client of the most suitable Tender.
• Assist the client in contractual negotiations with the chosen Contractor(s) and preparation of the Contract Documents.
• Management of the Project and Coordination between Contractors.
• Provide Engineers and Construction Supervision Staff experienced in similar projects.
• Review and approve the overall construction programme of the Works submitted by the Contractor and ensure compliance with the same so as to achieve target completion date.
• Review and approve the manufacturer's equipment drawings and detailed design drawing submitted by the Contractor and/or Sub-Contractor(s).
• Attend the factory test jointly with the client.
• Supervise and approve tests at site.
• Issue monthly progress report.
• Supervise the project during all stage of construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance during Guarantee Period.
• Prepare and issue payment certificates, review contractor's claim for variation works or extension of time and submit relevant report.
