Objective:

PFA application proposal ID: 101121746 (internal reference number: SEP-210911869) The project "Fostering Youth Information" (FYI) aims to provide young Europeans with access to high-quality information and support their active participation in civil society through the creation of independent and inclusive media. The project will be coordinated by the European Youth Press (EYP), an international network of young media makers, and will include a range of activities such as workshops, advocacy campaigns, network activities, seminars, and training sessions focused on promoting youth media through increased skills, knowledge of inclusion and good practices of constructive dialogue. Through these efforts, EYP contributes to core objectives of EU policy: fostering a more inclusive, informed, engaged, and connected citizenry across Europe’s youth. At the project’s core are three EU Youth Goals, each assigned a year within the Partnership Framework period. In 2023, that’s Quality Leaning: 2023: FYI: Young Media Makers need Skills (Quality Learning) Through capacity building within our network, we aim at designing, implementing and evaluating a series of activities, both online and offline that should all contribute to one of our organsiation’s goals: Equipping young media makers with the skills they need to produce quality youth media.
