Objective: In everyday life, citizens face many financial decisions, such as managing the family budget, savings, investments, credit or consumption. Financial literacy therefore plays a key role for a healthier economy and for an inclusive and egalitarian society. Despite this importance, according to the S&P Global FinLit Survey, “Financial literacy rates vary widely across the European Union. On average, 52 percent of adults are financially literate”. Given that we want to facilitate the transition to independent living and provide young people with the necessary competences to prevent and/or combat phenomena of poverty and/or social exclusion, this is the reason for PROACTING and the rest of the consortium to implement this project, which will greatly contribute to this investment in young people. This project will thus allow for working on financial literacy in diverse social and geographical contexts and with multifaceted challenges, through the development of a digital exchange, based on inclusive, intuitive content, training and development of financial literacy competences and key competences. This virtual exchange will provide young people with access to a quality learning opportunity, with the transfer of knowledge and experience between European partners and those from third countries not associated with the Programme, with intercultural dialogue based on such different and complementary backgrounds and using the digital media, also stimulating training and awareness of the conscious and informed use of digital resources.
