Contract Description: Egypt : Advancing Industrial CCS Hubs and Developing an Enabling CCS Framework

This study is the first among series of regional studies that aim to advance the development of CCS in the Pan-Arab world, under the World Bank’s Programmatic Advisory Services and Analytics program of the Pan-Arab Regional Energy Trading Platform (PA-RETP) Initiative. This study will focus on improving the understanding of four potential CCS hubs in Egypt, and the overall enabling environment and near-term actions for the development of CCS to inform World Bank advice to the Government of Egypt.
