Short description: The modernization of the last single-track section of the TEN-T main network line in Hungary includes, in addition to the construction of the second track, the reconstruction of the existing railway track, station construction and safety equipment, and telecommunications works.

Description of the procurement: Railway line No. 120 Békéscsaba (kiz) - Lőkösháza oh. modernization of the national public railway line section (between 868+83 - 1171+39 hmsz) over a length of nearly 30 km, reconstruction of the existing railway track, construction of a second track, implementation of safety equipment and telecommunications works. Increasing the axle load from 210 kN to 225 kN and the speed from 100 km/h (less than 100 km/h in places) to 160 km/h. Construction of a standard-gauge railway track with a substructure and superstructure, suitable for traffic at a speed of 160 km/h and an axle load of 225 kN, over a length of ~ 30 km (a total of ~ 60 track km (2 through main tracks and an open line), including station tracks ~ 75 vkm).
Stations to be modernized during the project phase:
— Szabadkygyós station (installation of 12 new group detours)
— Kétégyháza station (installation of 24 new group detours)
— Lőkösháza station (installation of 38 new group detours)

During the station construction works, 41 groups of type B60-XI detours, 11 groups of B60-XIII type detours, 12 groups of B60-800 1:15.44 type detours, 5 groups of B60-800 1:14.3 type detours, 2 groups of B60-XI 1:8 Installation of type 758 bypass, 1 group B54-XI type bypass, 2 groups B54-XIII type bypass.
Modernization of the entire track network of railway stations. Construction of 55 cm high station platforms, construction of 2 underpasses, elevators, platform roofs, barrier-free access, installation of street lighting, modernization of passenger traffic equipment.
Modernization of the entire electric traction overhead line network and energy supply.
Construction of 1 separate level road and railway crossing. Complete renovation of existing works of art.
Modernization of station and open line drainage.
Modernization of utility crossings and high-rise buildings.
Construction of a noise protection wall ~ 5.5 km long, construction of a station P+R and R+R system
Construction of a temporary safety device, conversion of a signal-detection-dependent safety device that is in operation, following the phases of track construction, at large stations.
Construction of the section of a cable structure crossing a track and/or road.
Construction of the final cable infrastructures.
Preparation of construction plans for HETA equipment and acquisition and development of operator approval.
Installation of vehicle diagnostic and radiation measurement equipment, preparation of system plans and implementation (installation) plans and obtaining operator approval.
At Szabadkígyós, Kétégyháza and Lőkösháza stations, the installation of new electronic station safety devices for reversing track passengers, with the connection of electrically adjustable switches (74 units).
Construction of scheduled 75 Hz signal transmission on the line section (~ 60 vkm).
Installation of automatic high-speed space safety equipment and equipment for road-rail level crossings by meeting the conditions of ETCS 2.
Establishment of 5 barrier devices.
Complete reconstruction of reception buildings, construction of a new telecommunications cable booth.
Creation of a KÖFI center.
Installation of remote control at Lőkösháza station.
Completing all tasks necessary for the establishment of telecommunications equipment.
Installation of the line safety device that excludes counter travel and train overtaking with an axle counter in the viewing direction.
Construction of cable substructures beyond the boundaries of track construction works, planning as necessary.
In accordance with the interoperability requirements, the safety devices must be supplemented with an adapter interface suitable for controlling ETCS level 2, the adapter interface must be built for the FOR system and connected to the existing system.
Construction of a passenger information system and a new open-line telephone system.
Installation of a complex asset protection and fire alarm system.
Implementation of the FET and HETA works to be carried out on the line section.
The execution of the works in such a way that the connectivity of the ETCS 2 train influencing equipment is ensured.
