Description

Procurement number: 23a00434

Procurement Subject: Samoa Water Supply Authority Maintenance and Management Capacity Strengthening Project Phase 2 Interim Review Survey (Evaluation Analysis) through Collaboration with Okinawa, Samoa

Purpose: In order to strengthen the technical guidance provided by the city division to other divisions, a rotation system was implemented in which city division staff and local division staff are relocated for a certain period of time, and some results have been seen so far. On the other hand, it is difficult for City Division staff to allocate time for technology transfer to Savai'i Division, which takes time to travel, and the characteristics of Furuasou EU Water District and Parauri Water District are different from those of the water supply districts that are in charge of Urban Division. Therefore, the content of guidance from city division staff is not necessarily sufficient, and there is a strong need for local divisions and Savai'i divisions to acquire know-how on systematic nonrevenue water reduction measures.
