Engineering Services for Site Assessment, Development of Tender documents and work site supervision in Schools (12) within Unity and Northern Bahr El Ghazal States, South Sudan

1.0. SCOPE OF SERVICES AS PER THE ToRs, COMPLETED BY THESE SPECIFIC DETAILS

2.1. Site’s assessment and development of technical/tender documents.
2.2. Verify structural integrity and functionality of existing infrastructures, quality of finishes, accuracy of the as-built design drawings, and if not available, prepare architectural and engineering drawings of assessed infrastructures, verify the land and premises legal status.
2.3. Conduct lite In-Situ light soil investigation and geotechnical surveys / investigations of the project site and prepare the complete
and detailed geotechnical report
2.4. Produce designs both architectural and structural for new school infrastructure that comply with site conditions, criteria,
performance standards and accessibility requirements.
2.5. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQs) and confidential cost estimate; and compile all technical documents (design drawings, technical
specifications and bill of quantities) to support in tendering process.
2.6. Assisting UNICEF in review of designs, solicitation process and the selection of qualified construction companies.
2.7. I Provide technical and compliance certification of the works
2.8. Advise on design alteration where needed.
2.9. Approve contractor’s details drawings, with UNICEF
2.10. Working drawings as may be required as well as-built drawings.
2.11. Provide monthly reports, minutes of site meetings, and draft variation orders for approval.
2.12. Environmental mitigation monitoring report including community participation.
2.13. Work on final project report detailing the works done and the project impacts along with data on the key performance indicators.

§ Light geotechnical with recommendations.
§ Full set of architectural and structural designs approved by UNICEF and Ministry of General Education and Instruction (MOGEI).
# BoQs and cost estimates and specifications for repairs, rehabilitation and/or new construction approved by UNICEF and MOGEI.
§ Technical and compliance certification of the works
§ Advice on design alteration where needed.
