Description
Name of the project: Hanoi pilot light metro line, section Nhon – Hanoi railway station.
Contract package: CP-01: Elevated section – Line (HPLMLP/CP-01)
Description: The Elevated line comprises of viaduct structures which go along the National Road No 32, Ho Tung Mau,XuanThuy, CauGiay and interfaces with underground section at the beginning of Kim Ma Street. Basically the alignment goes along the median strip of the current and planned roads, viaduct structures are divided into standard viaducts which comprise most of the elevated section and special viaducts where long or specialspans are required to pass over major constraints (2nd Ring Road, 3rd Ring Road, Nhue River) or where themetro line requires crossover viaducts or a Yjunction viaduct.
This package includes the following main work items: Construction site preparation, including casting yardpreparation and the line site preparation; Construction of viaduct foundations (bored piles about 50m-60mdeep), concrete piers and pier caps; Pre-casting, transportation and erection of typical prestressed U-shapedbeams and interfaces with special bridges; Construction of cast-in-place cantilever prestressed viaducts anda cast-in-place extra dossed prestressed bridge over planned/existing National Road No.2; Construction ofbridge over the Railway; Construction of 4 cross over bridges with various transit and cast-in-place spans and a prestressed slab type deck at the Depot interface; The construction of 2 abutments, and construction oftwo ramp structures, one at the interface with the Underground structure, and the other in the Depot; Traffic management during construction, highway reinstatement, and environmental protection at all sites.
