Description: Capacity Development of the National Designated Authority and other key National Stakeholders, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines

To provide capacity building services to the National Designated Authority and other key stakeholders in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This consultancy is intended to strengthen the capacity of NDA personnel and partner stakeholders to engage with the GCF, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the NDA function via the on- line platforms for the No-Objection procedure, climate change data and information, and for tracking climate finance investments in the country. The enhanced capacity will support the development of high-quality project proposals.

The activities that should be undertaken are: -
1. Conduct a Pre-evaluation survey to determine participating stakeholder’s knowledge – Pre-training assessment of participating stakeholders’ knowledge and to inform development of the training materials and modules.
2. Development of Training Materials – on-line training modules for knowledge building and learning, to build knowledge of GCF operational modalities and financial instruments, and the GCF results framework and application of digital solutions for effective and transparent NDA operations. (Complements the digitalization of the NDA processes and procedures.)
3. Deliver (up to five) face-to-face training sessions to NDA staff and personnel from key sectors and stakeholder institutions, including public, private sector and civil society, utilizing the training modules developed under this activity for the operation and use of the new NDA digital system.
