Objective:

With the project we aim to promote urban sports to youth in the local community and to increase participation and awareness in these activities among young people in the area, with the goal of providing them with a positive and healthy outlet for physical activity and creativity through active participation and peer to peer mentoring in the project that will also impact local community development. The aim is also to raise the awareness of local decision makers or other relevant stakeholders to establish a community skatepark or other urban sport facility, with the aim of providing a safe and accessible space for young people to engage in these activities. Overall, the key to promoting urban sports and skateboarding to youth and actively engaging them in the local community is to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development, while also promoting positive values such as teamwork, respect and perseverance.
