The purpose of this DM is to work ith stakeholders in the Nigerian oil and gas sector to identify projects which would enhance the efficiency and commercial sustainability of the sector. Potential areas to investigate include introduction of carbon credit incentives to encourage the use of natural gas for cooking and vehicles, technical assistance to regulatory agencies, rehabilitation of Nigeria's four state-owned refineries, and the implementation of new, US developed, gas-ti-liquids technologies.
