Description: Multi-Sample UV-Vis Spectrophotometer for DNA Quantification and Quality Assessment

The requested instrument must have DNA, RNA, and protein quantification capabilities. DNA quantification must cover the entire concentration range of 2 to
10,000 ng/µL dsDNA. The instrument must use full-spectrum UV-vis absorbance and not require sample preparation such as dying or dilution to analyze this range of concentrations. In addition, the instrument must provide DNA quality assessment for the provided samples and be capable of processing multiple samples (8 or more) simultaneously.
• Easy, rapid sample loading and clearing (maximum time between readings: 30 seconds)
• Maximum sample volume required: 2 µL
• Detection capabilities
o Concentration range: 2 – 10,000 ng/µL dsDNA
o Wavelength range: 190 – 850 nm
o Wavelength accuracy: ±1 nm
o Absorbance accuracy: 3% or better
o Automatically adjusting path length
• Hardware
o Instrument must be stand-alone or laptop must be included
• Software
o Capable of dsDNA, RNA, protein and UV-vis measurement
o Include accurate, full-spectrum contaminant assessment and correction
• Must include standard warranty
