Objective
CYBERSTAND.eu aims at delivering a targeted, industry-centred, policy-driven initiative to support European interests in cybersecurity standardisation in view of the proposed Regulation to the Cyber Resilience Act CRA. The 36-month project builds on mature premises brought in by the Consortium and implements a focussed work plan revolving around 3 pillars: a) Create an engaged knowledge-sharing community, through inspiring events amongst stakeholders; b) Setup a merit-driven facility with 1.5M€ to provide support of 200+ EU cybersecurity experts; c) Deliver an inclusive EU Synergy Programme of Cybersecurity standardisation to complement the roles of National Coordination Centres (NCCs). Impact: Stronger participation of EU stakeholders in int’l cybersecurity standardisation fora, leveraging on the stimulation of a rich discussion conducted at the CRA Working Groups level (CRAWG), create a dialogue between Industry, SMEs & Start-Ups, Academia and Standardisation Communities, also through public consultations and providing OA guidance materials to funnel innovations into standards activities. Consortium: Trust-IT Srl (IT), SME with over 15 years’ experience of managing complex pan-European projects in standardisation & ICT, complemented by its AE COMMpla Srl (IT); – effectively supported by ECSO (BE) cross-sectoral and independent EU membership organisation for cybersecurity, European DIGITAL SME Alliance (BE), largest network of ICT SMEs in Europe; 3 European Standardisation Bodies: CEN (BE), CENELEC (BE), ETSI (FR). An External Pool of Evaluators (EPE), to select the best applications on cybersecurity related to the CRA experts. An authoritative Strategy Board (SB) will provide guidance and insights. Further outputs: 3 annual impact events; 12 workshops; 12 webinars; contribution to standardisation work items, 2 Whitepapers, 2 Policy Briefs; 30+ established synergies, fuelling the TCs & WGs; 30 use cases; an engaged multi-stakeholder community of 3,000+ members.
