Objective:
Sport Ireland has served as the National Coordinating Body (CB) for the European Week of Sport in Ireland since 2015. Sport Ireland has developed the initiative in partnership with a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport, Local Sports Partnerships and other sporting organisations over this time and the week is now firmly embedded in Ireland annual sport and physical activity calendar. Sport Ireland plan to continue to build on the success of the initiative in 2024 and 2025 while supporting sporting organisations in Ireland to attract more of our population to participate in sport and physical activity at all levels and across the lifespan
