RN 13/45/25/12 roads

Technical assistance for the control and supervision of rehabilitation works of national roads in the southern part of Madagascar – RN 13/45/25/12, concerning projects 1/2/3/4 (440 km).

The roads RNS 45, 25 and 12 are part of the national road network linking the plateaus towards the southern coast and towards the harbor of Manakara. It links the RNP 7 to Mananjary, Manakara and Fanafangana. The RNS 45 is the sole section not yet asphalted of the layout and it is in very bad condition. It is inaccessible during the rainy season. Moreover, the advanced deterioration condition of some asphalted sections (RNS 25 and RNS 12), needing an urgent intervention, involves the whole south-eastern region.

The RNS 13 is part of the national road network linking plateaus to the extreme south-eastern part (Tolagnaro). It is an earth road inaccessible during the rainy season.

The project envisages the rehabilitation of approximately 440 km of roads and relative structures.
