Consultancy Services for Design Review, Preparation of Bidding Documents and Construction Supervision for Kahramanmaraş (Centrum) Water Supply, Sewerage and Stormwater Project (West Part Lot-1) & (East Part Lot-2), Ceyhan Basin Wastewater Treatment Plant (Göksun-Ekinözü) & (Çağlayancerit - Andırın) Projects KMARAS-C2
Brief description:
The project can be defined as follows:
- Construction of Kahramanmaraş (Centrum) Water Supply, Sewerage and Stormwater Project (West Side Lot-1 and East Side Lot-2)
- The Kahramanmaraş (Centrum) Water Supply project covers construction of a network with a total length of 186.02 km and transmission line of 2.77 km with 7229 houses to be connected to the drinking water network with a total length of 57.84 km. Also, mechanical and electrical renovation of 14 existing water reservoirs and 3 pump stations will be done. 2 branch valve chambers will be constructed and 3 pcs drinking water tanks with volumes of 1000 m3, 1500 m3 and 2000 m3 will be constructed. The project also includes Scada system hardware installation for the whole network.
- The Kahramanmaraş (Centrum) Sewerage project covers construction of a network with a total length of 53.9 km with 1192 manholes and 1981 house connections to the sewerage network with a total length of 19.8 km.
- The Kahramanmaraş (Centrum) Storm Water project covers construction of 18.4 km network with 556 storm water manholes, and 1518 storm water rain grills and connections will be constructed.
- Ceyhan Basin Wastewater Treatment Plant Project (Göksun-Ekinözü)
- Göksun WWTP: The design wastewater flowrate is calculated as 269.67 m3/h in Stage 1 for a population of 25,000 and 318.20 m3/h in stage 2 for a population of 30,000 including Syrian guests. Also, project includes construction of 4.6 km of wastewater collectors, manholes and auxiliary structures for WWTP.
- Ekinözü WWTP: The design wastewater flowrate is calculated as 35.10 m3/h in winter & 63.51 m3/h in summer and 40.50 m3/h in winter & 75.86 m3/h in summer for the respective populations including Syrian guests in stage 1 and stage 2 respectively. Also, the project includes construction of 2.05 km of wastewater collectors, pumping station and auxiliary structures for WWTP.
- Ceyhan Basin Wastewater Treatment Plant Project (Çağlayancerit-Andırın)
- Çağlayancerit WWTP: The design wastewater flowrate is calculated as 113.39 m3/h and 133.05 m3/h for the population of 15,000 for stage 1 and 17,600 for stage 2 including Syrian guests. Also, project includes construction of wastewater collectors, soil improvement and auxiliary structures for WWTP.
- Andırın WWTP: The design wastewater flowrate is calculated as 66.29 m3/h and 85.71 m3/h for the population of 11,600 for stage 1 and 15,000 for stage 2 including Syrian guests. Also, the project includes construction of 7.7 km of wastewater collectors, pumping station, 600 m long pumping line and auxiliary structures for WWTP.

- The sub-consultancy contract covers construction supervision services.
