Objective: The Sporting spirits: Empowering Volunteers (SPEVO) project aims to enhance community engagement and foster positive social impact through the effective integration and management of volunteers in sports activities, leveraging the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival Skopje 2025 (EYOF 2025). Aligned with the Erasmus+ programe, SPEVO channels efforts towards providing enriching training experiences for over 900 volunteers, emphasizing environmental sustainability and Olympic values. The project addresses specific objectives including promoting volunteerism, implementing extensive training programs, and establishing a comprehensive volunteer database. Through sound needs analysis, SPEVO identifies challenges hindering volunteerism in North Macedonia, aiming to cultivate a supportive environment and fully leverage volunteerism's potential. Implemented indicators measure project achievement, ensuring SPEVO enhances community engagement, promotes inclusivity, and fosters positive social impact in sports through effective volunteer integration and management.
