Objective: The needs assessment indicates that youngsters lack intercultural competencies, media literacy skills, and a major skills gap and face a high unemployment rate. Especially in the CCI sector, there is a skills gap in digital and entrepreneurial competencies. The DigiCreate project consists of online virtual exchanges that will help at least 2,500 youngsters (18-30 years of age) to acquire significant digital competencies for the CCI sector and promote intercultural dialogue in 4 Programme Countries and 2 countries of the Western Balkan region (Montenegro & Bosnia and Herzegovina). The DigiCreate virtual exchanges will run for 36 months and enable every young person in the target group to access high-quality international and crosscultural non-formal education based on the DigiCreate Methodological Framework developed during the project, without physical mobility. The activities are organized into 6 WPs to include those 2.5k youngsters: WP1: Project Coordination and Management WP2: Virtual Exchange Kick-Off: Validation of DigiCreate Methodological Framework WP3: Virtual Exchange Focus Groups: Mapping of Digital Tools and Creation of DigiCreate Online Creative Hive Open Digital Toolbox WP4: Virtual Exchange Tech and Materials: Creative Hive Open Digital Toolbox by Online Platform, Online Courses, DigiCreate Products WP5: Virtual Exchange Scheduling and Event Management WP6: Impact and Dissemination To achieve the intended impact during and beyond the project, DigiCreate will develop several tools that will also secure the sustainability of the project, including 2,500 certificates of completion (Youthpass) for youngsters from 6 countries (Germany, Spain Portugal, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia) who will connect internationally and interculturally, the DigiCreate Methodological Framework (MS2.1), Successful stories (MS2.2), the DigiCreate Digital Hive Toolbox (MS3.2), DigiCreate Digital Online Platform (MS4.1), the DigiCreate Online Course (MS4.2).
