Project ID: 101193735

Objective: As today the world is facing unseen challenges related to water pollution, soil deterioration and climate change, there is an urgent need for providing practical and innovative solutions that will prioritize sustainability. The idea of this project is to start in the region of the WB countries (North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania and Kosovo) with aim to extend further on in the future years. We strive to meet this need by using the power of the digital technology to develop and implement engaging and interactive online courses which will tackle topics related to the sustainable agriculture and permaculture practices The aim of this project is to provide accessible online learning opportunities focused on sustainable agriculture and permaculture practices. By leveraging digital platforms, the project aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote environmentally friendly and economically viable agricultural practices. Through this project, the participants will have the opportunity to gain basic knowledge and to explore the key concepts and techniques related to water conservation, food production, soil protection and permaculture design. They will be engaged in virtual training courses, but they will also have the opportunity to implement the gained knowledge into practical experience through the offline activities. Additionally with the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and the booklet which will be created within the project the wider public will have the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills as well as gain practical experience on the sustainable agriculture and permaculture practices that they can implement as a part of their everyday life. At the end, with this project we will try to transform the way we think about and practice agriculture. By harnessing the power of education, technology, and collaboration, we can build a more sustainable and resilient food system that nourishes both people and the planet for generations
