Objective: The Digital Summit will be an annual event hosted by the European Commission and the Member State presiding over the Council of the European Union. It’s a forum addressing important issues of the digital transformation. The Digital Summit (DS25) will be hosted by the Polish Presidency at the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk, Poland, on 17-18 June 2025. This two-day event will focus on SMEs & scale-ups, their digital competitiveness and innovation, exposure to digital regulations and absorption of digital technologies.
The Digital Summit concurs with the EC’s economic priorities, namely:
- cutting the red tape for SMEs,
- securing the potential of European entrepreneurs,
- building up the EU’s competitiveness through investment and innovation,
- building up the EU’s own capital.
The EU’s digital ambitions for 2030 require Member States to focus on digital regulations, secure and sustainable digital infrastructure, digital transformation of SMEs and digitalisation of public services. We believe that Member States face various challenges arising out of these processes. With the help of cooperation and innovation we can transform the EU into a strong and resilient Digital Single Market. With DS25, Poland seeks to highlight the challenges and opportunities that are vital to a continued secure and open digital transformation withing the Digital Decade framework.
