Title: SZ Valtice – panel adjustment
Description: The subject of the public contract is the adjustment of three restored panels in the period 2007 – 2015. The paintings LE 328 st.entitled Excursion Place on the River, LE 331 entitled Lake Garden and LE 330 st. entitled Visit of an Old Lady in the Palace Courtyard have been stored since the restoration in the NW Lednice depository, under climatically stable conditions. The paintings will be mounted on newly made wooden frames with a newly prepared cleaning strip in the width of the supporting frame, in a neutral color of natural linen. However, possible cracks may occur at the edges of the paintings during the adjustment and it is therefore necessary to take this fact into account and ensure the method of treating these areas, since any manipulation is always stressful, especially for degraded silk surfaces.
