Journalism & Media

The grantee is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of programming for independent authors and journalists. Type Investigations is a project of it and works to produce and disseminate high-impact investigative reporting in partnership with individual journalists and smaller newsrooms that may be newer to investigative reporting but have important stories to tell. This grant provides flexible support for Type Investigations, and the outcome of this grant will be a more robust set of investigative reporting projects that promote accountability and provide a service to the public.
