Main characteristics:

The HEEREMA Marine Contractors marine base has an area of 15 ha where a 370-metre mooring berth was constructed and three main production buildings were built. Spaces were also created for offices, canteens and dormitories, all fully-equipped. This base has a system of infrastructures complete with a 7 MW electricity plant, a compressor yard, electrical distribution, compressed air, fuel, fibre optics, water and drains. A desalination plant and a wastewater treatment plant were also installed.
This base will provide support to offshore activities for Bloco 31 and other future projects in the energy field. The main activity will be welding and storing pipes necessary to the oil industry.
