The project has been designed to provide technical assistance to the Agrostatistics Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) in order to finalise the Bulgarian Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) system and fulfil Bulgarian requirements in accordance with EU accession.

Three key objectives of the project were as follows:

• Finalise implementation of FADN system for Bulgaria
• Organise explanatory campaign on FADN
• Training to use the FADN data and data analysis; and exchange of best FADN practices from other EU states who implemented the system (France, Denmark, Estonia)
