Summary: From 2009 to 2011, alongside the global study on administrative detention, the CCLC developed a guidance document on legislative reform in the context of juvenile justice. To complete the study, the Centre gathered evidence of best practices in juvenile justice legislation from around the globe, in order to provide a comprehensive guidance note on the development of juvenile justice legislation in line with international standards and best practices.
