The scope of the contract is the construction of complete sanitary sewerage systems in four villages in Upper Egypt namely; (1) Manqabad village in Assiut Governorate, (2) Nazlet Aqfahs & Seds villages in Bani Sweif governorate and (3) Garfas village in Fayoum governorate.

The sanitary sewerage system consists of main and sub-main gravity lines, pump stations, pressure lines and proper connection to existing treatment plants. The selected villages suffer from lack of proper sanitary disposal systems and high underground water table. Population of each village varies from 7000 to 38000 inhabitants. The tender is divided into three lots, one lot for each Governorate.
