The Facility for the ENI cross-border cooperation programmes at the EU's external borders (Technical Support to the Implementation and management of ENI CBC Programmes) will include two components:
1. "Supporting management structures" to improve the quality of the management and implementation of the ENI CBC programmes and ensure better cooperation between the Member States and the CBC partner countries;
2. "Supporting eligible organisations in CBC partner countries" to improve the capacity in project development and management of organisations eligible for participating in the ENI CBC programmes - such as local and regional authorities, civil society and other relevant actors. These activities should be for the benefit of CBC partner countries (including Turkey and the Russian Federation).
