Description

Itad is providing strategic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) services to the second phase of DFID’s Business Innovation Facility (BIF2) programme. BIF2 will provide advice to companies with innovative business models that have the potential to create more jobs, income opportunities, products and services for poor people. BIF 1 has been in operation since 2010 and has already reached around 2 million people. BIF2 aims to multiply this reach, by developing existing programmes and expanding into new countries including Myanmar, Malawi and Nigeria. Itad is developing and rolling out the M&E framework, training local teams how to use the framework and providing ongoing strategic direction and support. We have assembled a team of consultants skilled in private sector development, making markets work for the poor (M4P) approaches, and M&E.

Client: DFID, PwC
