At least 400,000 poor people (as producers, employees, etc) positively affected at the end of MAP, in terms of new jobs created and incomes for 100,000 people increase by 10%;
A 30% increase in peer perceptions of partners’ effectiveness and in stakeholders’ awareness and understanding of the approach.
The overall scope will cover activities and areas that will help develop and implement a market development programme that will improve the performance of key market systems or sectors in Kenya. The MAP will be developed by conducting scoping activities, consultations, thorough analysis and design of a programme that will produce major systemic change in the chosen sectors, significant job creation for poor people, growth in incomes and increased awareness and use of the market development approach across private sector and Government actors.
