Objectives:

• To produce fifty two (52) episodes of the Knowzone education series to support and enrich numeracy, literacy and life skills amongst 8 year olds in Kenya. There will also be opportunities to focus on topics related to health, the environment and climate change;

• To complement lessons and act as revisions of the week’s work according to the syllabus at the end of the week. The series content will be developed in conjunction with the current Kenyan curriculum;

• Undertake an end of project research to show the effects of the initiative on audiences’ knowledge, attitudes and practices; how access develops; preferences for materials and lessons learnt for future content development to improve an individual and institutional access; and education improvement.
