Contract for: Management of the Economic Advocacy Programme - Zambia

Purchase order number: PO 5939

Objective:

To appoint a supplier to deliver the outputs of the Zambia Economic Advocacy Programme (ZEAP) as set out in programme logframe including (but not limited to):

  • develop an inception report for the programme

  • ensure baselines and results based work plans for think tanks are finalised

  • support Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR) to become a technically competent, public sector economic think tank which effectively disseminates research;

  • build the capacity of selected Zambian CSO think tanks to conduct and disseminate policy research and strengthen advocacy for reform;

  • consolidate EAZ’s role as the main impartial public forum for economic policy debate and enhance its ability to host seminars;

  • provide management and leadership of ZEAP

  • contract administration, managing direct funding of think tanks / EAZ

  • monitoring and reporting of progress

  • provision of expertise in economic analysis, advocacy and communication and management of suitable short term technical experts, providing quality assurance of their technical work;

  • ensure partners embed climate change impacts of economic policy and articulate these through research, analysis, advocacy and communication.
